Who We Are and What We Do 

We are a grassroots organization based in the Coastal Bend, working to ensure that every resident has access to safe water, a healthy environment, and safe public spaces to enhance residents' overall quality of life. Through community organizing, public education, and advocacy, we empower residents to demand policies that prioritize people over profit and hold local leadership accountable.  

Our History 

Since 2016, For The Greater Good (FTGG) has committed itself to serving the community of Corpus Christi and advocating for and with people of the Coastal Bend to protect the local environment and public spaces essential for thriving communities. FTGG was formed as a small mutual aid group composed of engaged citizens brought together to ensure that residents had access to safe drinking water. Since that time, the group has maintained its commitment to people power by mobilizing citizens to use their voices to share community knowledge about the impact of local governance and industry on the lives of residents.
